SERVICES

KID PICS

Sands Point Police Department will compile a complete computer profile of your child.  This profile will consist of the following:

  • - Digital photo of your child

  • - Name, date of birth, weight, height, eye and hair color, scars and other identifying features

  • - A medical profile, including allergies, current medications and any medical conditions

  • - Parent and emergency contact information

This information will be stored in a confidential file on the Police Department Computer System.  This profile and digital photo can be sent to another police agency in a matter of minutes if your child was reported missing.

We will also provide a kid friendly ID card to be carried by your child.  This card will include a unique ID number that  corresponds to your child's records at the Police Department.

We will also provide a duplicate ID card to be carried by the parent in the event that a child becomes lost in a public place such as a department store or mall. We will also fingerprint your child and make additional recommendation that will assist in recovering a missing or lost child.

We recommend updating the photo and profile on a yearly basis.

Any parent interested should contact Police Officer John Nickdow @ 883-3100
